Piebald Mule Deer Toddler T-Shirt

A rare and unusual white deer. Also known as a piebald deer, are white due to a genetic mutation. I was fortunate to come across this one in Colorado. Indian tribes considered piebald deer to be embodiments of spirits passing to or from the spirit world. The fact that this mule deer is almost entirely white makes it even more unique. Although not as rare as an albino deer they are still one in a thousand. Even more astounding, it has a twin. Its sibling is in the trees in the background.

My name is Shirley Dutchkowski and I have collections of artwork, as well as photography. I did my first painting in January of 2019. I read somewhere to "embrace the loneliness and reinvent yourself" and that's exactly what I did that winter. I started painting. As a new artist, I found creating to be my salvation. Art has the ability to free the mind and cleanse the soul. It provides a release of all that holds us stuck in time and takes us to the most wonderful places.
