Jellyfish actually aren't fish, lacking brains, blood, or even hearts, jellyfish are pretty simple critters. They have drifted along on ocean currents for millions of years. Jellyfish are symbolic of love, balance, and acceptance.

My name is Shirley Dutchkowski and I have collections of artwork, as well as photography. I did my first painting in January of 2019. I read somewhere to "embrace the loneliness and reinvent yourself" and that's exactly what I did that winter. I started painting. As a new artist, I found creating to be my salvation. Art has the ability to free the mind and cleanse the soul. It provides a release of all that holds us stuck in time and takes us to the most wonderful places.
